I launched the business in 2015 after many years in the industry and in a range of roles, having started at the bottom and worked my way up. It was clear to me that even in a competitive market like Mortgages, the public do not have the industry they deserve.
Our approach is to treat each client as an individual, talk to them directly and ensure that we all understand the transaction that is required. This includes process as well as cost. The start of the journey is to explain we are not only here to look after this initial transaction, but that we are looking after their mortgage and associated needs for the total period where those services are required. This can only be achieved by regular and consistent communication – which is quite frequent when processing a mortgage or remortgage.
Beyond this process we do need to talk each year, to fully understand our clients’ ongoing needs and also be in a position to help when needed.
It can be a complex process, dealing with buyers, sellers and their estate agents. Which lender do you talk to? Each lender only talks about their own products, surveyors and solicitors. Also, what insurance do you need? Insurance is crucial area that helps clients avoid losing their home though unforeseen circumstances. Sadly this happens every year and some clients are insured adequately and others are not. It is a lot more straightforward for us when we are dealing with these people on a daily basis. Whereas most clients it is once every few years at best.
It is important that we have like minded people within the business. We all need to reflect the values mentioned above. We have a wealth of experience with some of us having worked in the industry for over 30 years. You cannot undervalue the strength of that experience and knowledge that can only be built up over time. Despite todays society demanding that instant fix. You need that knowledge and experience to navigate through the demands that we face on a daily basis
The ESTAS awards are for Property Professionals and it is the only platform where the recognition is voted for by customers, the end users. As such this is a critical measure in todays customer service driven industry.

We have a business relationship with Andrews Property Group, whose founder is Cecil Jackson-Cole. Cecil founded globally renowned charities such as Age UK and Oxfam.
